LASER Focused Conversation: The Importance of Research Translation in International Development

Dr. Raman has co-authored over 140 peer-reviewed journal articles, held visiting positions at universities in Spain, the UK, and Germany, and secured funding from the NSF, NIH, NASA, and NNSA, as well as national and international industrial sponsors. He is an American Society of Mechanical Engineers fellow and Gustus Larson Memorial Award recipient, Keeley fellow at Oxford University, College of Engineering Outstanding Young Investigator awardee, and NSF CAREER awardee. Dr. Raman speaks with us about the importance of research translation in international development.
