Looking to develop a training based on your research findings or conduct trainings throughout your project? This module will help guide you through creating impactful trainings toward awareness, understanding, skill acquisition, and skill application. Learn how to use a backward design process, maximize face-to-face time, and design activities that best get to the level of application you expect your trainees to reach.

Overview:

  1. To provide a rationale for engaging stakeholders in the design of your training activities, and
  2. To provide examples and activities for further skill development.

Our hope is that a variety of individuals – including those in research, government, and NGO settings – will find this module to be a helpful introduction to strengthening their own skills around designing training toward research translation.
