The LASER Mechanical Grain Dryer Adaptation in Bangladesh Dataset provides us a brief overview about the demography of the selected underserved communities of Nilphamari regions, Bangladesh. The grain (especially maize) drying scenario was also being focused. Superiority of BAU-STR dryer over traditional sun drying was also being highlighted in terms of the various performance parameters such as drying rate, drying efficiency, drying capacity, fuel consumption rate and drying loss. The dataset also tells us about the prospects of the BAU-STR dryer and gives us the answer to the concerning issues that need to be addressed for successful adaptation of the BAU-STR dryer in the underserved communities of Bangladesh.
