I enjoyed diagnosing the relevance of our institution to the nearby stakeholders and I understood that although there are initiates we started, we have a long to go in meeting the aspirations of the stakeholders.
A good lesson to review /scan institution gaps against the stakeholders’ needs. I enjoyed reading it
This was very interesting to think about how my institution is prepared to meet the aspirations of various stakeholders.
This is so important to know and I have enjoyed it. Often times we find a disconnect between university research and development priorities. LMIC universities have inadequate grants writing capacity. The recommendations from research should be clear and actionable rather than abstract.
it has been very interesting to know that donors want to fund research aligning to development priorities
enjoyed the module and as part of the research ecosystem hope to share for learning and change
Very informative to note that alot of transformative research information lies on the university shelves rather than translating them into business enterprises.
What a stimulating module! Enjoyed reading it!
I have learnt and also affirmed my fears why users of research fail or ignore research from academia. They are often too quick and are not patient with time taken by research. Therefere, a gap or separation begins to grow and widen; yet the two stakeholders need partnership.
Secondly, the users of research are not well mobilised.
